Sewing

Guatemala is known for their vibrant colors, and our artisans make sure those colors are prominent in each sewed piece they make.  From baby booties to purses, pillowcases to scarves; Guatemalan textiles are absolutely stunning and and an important part of the culture.  Nothing is wasted--so many of the textiles you see in one product can be found in another. 

Our sewing is mostly done in Upavim's offices although some women work from their homes at times.  Product design, patterns, training and tagging are all done by Upavimas.
